There is so much drama going on in my family right now I feel like I am going to explode! This has been going on since July and it won’t seem to either end or go away. Another ‘episode’ happened last night - this doesn’t surprise me since it’s so close to Christmas. My BIL [...]

This Abraham-Hicks quote was in my email this morning and I wasn’t sure how to take this one.
Relationships are forever. They are eternal. Not just permanent in this lifetime. Once you establish a relationship, it is an eternal relationship.
Um - so every relationship that I have had is eternal. In some ways that is very [...]

I have finally come to a resolution regarding my sister (i.e. the backstabber). She has made decisions that have been hurtful both emotionally and financially to us but in order for me to feel better I have to release it and stop pushing against her. This does not mean that I want to hang out [...]

My husband and I were having a somewhat philosophical discussion this morning about expectations we have for our lives and how to best achieve them. I found this on the Abe Forum and thought it was a great list to refer back to when feeling like crap. 10 great ideas that are a recipe for a happy life.
Seek joy — first and foremost.
Seek reasons to laugh.
Seek reasons to offer words of praise — to self and others.
Seek beauty in nature, [...]

Once I discovered the teachings of Abraham via “Abraham-Hicks” I really didn’t talk about it much unless it was to people who have read the books. Basically, my husband, sister and brother-in-law. This is a very interesting clip from Abraham about how to summarize what ‘Abraham-Hicks’ is - who are they, etc.
This clip is from [...]

Abraham-Hicks sent (via email) a great quote that really hit home today. It is about lying. Nothing sends me through the roof like someone lying to me but in actuality we all lie. I agree that most lies are told to create harmony. They are not malicious in nature - most of the time.
I am [...]
