The Big Apple Gift
I’ve lived in New Jersey for most of my life. I’ve lived in North Jersey, Central Jersey and South Jersey yet I rarely go to New York City. My husband’s brother lives in NYC and we never go in to see him. We really should take advantage of him living right in the city but life gets in the way.
When I was a kid my parents and grandmother were great about making sure my sister and I went into the city. There are some incredible places to see there. My all time favorite is the Museum of Natural History. We really have to bring our daughter in to see it. I also loved going on the Circle Line (a boat tour that allows you to see the whole skyline). ‘Circle it on the Circle line’ - I’m aging myself now.
I know that going to NYC can get very expensive but I came across a great gift idea - New York CityPass. This is a pass that allows you to save on the cost of admission to various places such as museums, tours, etc. It also saves time by allowing you to skip the main entrance. This saves over 50% and only costs $65 for adults and $49 for kids.
Traveling and experiencing different things is good for the soul!
