As I sit downstairs on this gloomy Saturday morning doing bills and avoiding cleaning my house my husband yells from upstairs “what amount of our mortgage payment goes to the principle.” I tell him it’s not good and he probably doesn’t want to know. At least we have a fixed rate mortgages on all 3 of our houses. This ARM issue with mortgages people have is not a good situation. Getting cheap mortgages is terribly important when buying a house but there are other factors (such as the future) that have to be remembered when buying a house. I understand how it is when you want a house - I was willing to sell my soul to get the house we have now!

Worrying about money and finances is a necessary evil at times but when fear becomes involved it is not good. I keep trying to tell Chris not to always be worrying about the future and let’s try to enjoy the present. You sure can’t take it with you so might as well enjoy today - responsibly
